why would you want to do that? Auspices have stoped development of their services, and wont be continuing with them

Yes its already not running anynmore but we can modify it for our own taste..i like the way its access on channels style cause the one who will add will be seen when you query and its memoserv is like in dalnet it does have news and an auto email upon register..in anope its just the access list not knowing who add and the memoserv is not the brood unlike auspice
i just want to know if there is a way to convert database from anope to auspice?
and is there anyone knows services that is like auspice's memoserv and access list? |

1) No there isnt any way to convert (afaik)
2) What do you like about Auspice, if I agree with you, I'll consider whacking it in Winse some day. |

Hi,
If you can modify the source code then sticking together a DB converter wouldnt be that complicated, why else would you ask otherwise?
On a more nicer side note, your best sticking off with anope as its always in development, ircd's are changing modes and the way they link at some point which will break auspice's IRCd compatibility protocol support somewhere along the line. |

mouselike, apparantly Auspice isn't quite as dead as some of the more educated would like... I've heard rumors about a new release sometime soon.
Anyhow, Auspice already lacks support for some features. Like mlocking +f in Unreal. |

Anope also lacks this . This is definately somthing I'm going to address in WinSE. |

Hmm, I thought they fixed that? Maybe it was ircservices.
As for fixing it in winse, we really need to stop changing how the core works first |

Ive heard this too, but it would appear its more or less a complete overhall of the last auspice version, so its very likely the DB will be slightly or completely different too.
If auspices is still in development then its obviously not as productive as anope, however if anope hasnt already fixed mlocking +f then i cant vouch for the eta on when the coders will do it but i am sure they will soon enough once they get to it in the todo. |

Apparently I'm wrong: Anope allows mlocking the OLD format, but not the new format used by Unreal (though it converts from 5:10 to [5t]:10 and *5:10 to [5t#b]:10 automatically). |
