In the 'network annoucements' forum, it might be a good idea to create an official topic that deals with the "hi, I've just started a new irc network" type statement, with a reply such as the ones in :
http://searchirc.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=1574&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=
and links to helpful information, becuase some people seem to have to answer many of these a week, and typically the replies tend to be all very similar.
An annoncement about 'how to get users', 'how do I setup X...', how do I .... (insert common question here) and one with a link to my AG-setup.txt might be a good idea - it would save them having to be reposted all the time. |
