I prefer Anope. I`ve seen many of the services packages and i liked Anope best of all. I`ve already written some modules for it and i`m totally happy with it as they seem to fully fit my needs.

THE AUSPICE AND ANOPE ARE BOTH THE BEST AND THEY HAVE GOOD FEATURES. HOWEVER IT IS UP TO YOU WHICH ONE YOU MUST USE. USE THE BEST YOU CAN EASILY USE AND UNDERSTAND. AND DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME TRYING TO KNOW AND UNDERSTAND. I AM A NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR OF SOME IRC AND I FIND THEM BOTH VERY VERY GOOD!

if you're already using unreal, I'd suggest anope for a (nearly) seamless experience..

It pretty much depends on what you as a network owner wants your services to do. Some have alot of different things to them and some are a pretty dwindled down version whick provide your basic necessities of registering nicknames/channels, memoing, and a staff/ircop network management tools. There's alot to consider, so I'd say choose wisely. Try some of them out and just see what you like best.

I run Unreal3.2.6, with Anope-1.7.17 (1182).

IMO this is a perfect combination, this is all i have ever used, with the exception on plexus 3 for 2 days.. but anyways.. i love unreal + anope.

a match made in heaven !Very Happy

Your memories is right Pingy, Bahamut isn't a services package. It's an daemon invented by the Dalnet coder team and is in fact the ircd Dalnet uses.
