Does anyone know if there's a fakehost patch for the latest release of u2.10.12.12 (undernet-ircu)? I've searched around the net and no luck so far if someone could point me in the right direction I'd very much appreciate it.

| What exactly do you mean by fake host? Do you maybe mean host masking/cloaking or vhosts? I know you can set vhosts for people in ircservices, anope and atheme, all of which are services packages. As for cloaking/masking, you could just have the usermode +x set to users as they connect to your server. |

The only ones I know of are in http://www.planetcoding-server.net/ircu/ but you probably already know about them.
You'd probably have more luck asking someone on GameSurge (like Thiefmaster) about it... |

I've said under-ircu... +x requires an username.

Yeah, I know about those but unfortunately and it's exactly what I needed but unfortunately they don't work with the latest u-ircu version  |

perhaps you should invest some time in reviewing Nefarious, which is a ircu based ircd. Not sure what your exact situation is but it's possible that Nef could fix it. P10 with host mangling and other useful tools/toys.

| quakenet's snircd which does support fake hosts. You can set them to be automatic, manual via login/password on oper up etc and its the closest thing to stock ircu though nef. can have its features disabled just as easily. |
