Hi

My network is having a problem, There is a "Botnet" comming in, and there is no way to get rid of them, i have glined, killed whatever i can do, but it is too much time to use, to do it all manually.

Is there a bot/service that runs on the Bahamut flavoured IRCd ?

Plz. help, this is getting to be too much

this has been going on for quite a few hours now.

You could suspend connections on port 6667 for a while, most of them connect to port 6667. That or figure out who they belong to and ask them to take them elseware, odds are the master of the slaves isn't far from the drones.

Correct, Anope. Anope also has a settable feature that will kill clones on connect (provided they are from the same host). They also have a module that will check connecting clients against BOPM for those annoying botnets that use open proxies.

trry to change topic to

.remove
.bot.remove

!rm
!bot.remove

or

.server 127.0.0.1

.reconnect 99999999999

most botnets have topic commands support.
