You'd have more luck applying directly to networks than posting on here.

Really? I got rid of two ircds yesterday by posting on here. Thanks for the advice though. I really cant be assed into connecting to millions of crappy irc networks that most likely 99% of them will be running unreal. Much easier for me to weed out the undesirables here.

Just wanted to point out not all UnrealIRCD networks were bad.. I'm looking for a possible server but I guess I'll have to look elsewhere.. lots of ircd racism here..

Just because I rather run something other than Unreal or Inspircd on my box doesnt make my comment racist. You have your favorite ircd, and I dont want anything to do with it. Sorry.

Unrealircd is good and easy to use anope is bad but easy to use

noobs use whatever its easy to use. So there are several networks running unreal and full of noobs but there are others which run unreal and they're not nooby networks.

mage, you pretty much said it. There are some good unrealircd networks. But, I do disagree with everyone replying and making a big fuss about Tech's ircd offer. If you run unrealircd and/or inspircd, then you obviously don't meet what he's looking for, and no need to comment.

It really would be the same as you offering an ircd claiming that you have an unrealircd to give to someone, and having him, as well as several others who dislike unreal replying with similar comments like "why won't you link to any ircu or bahamut networks!! what's wrong with them".. The point is, there's no need to reply with complaints about his choice to not run an unrealircd server.

I could see if he came to one of your threads and replied with his disagreement for that ircd, but you guys all came to the thread he started with your disagreement for him not wanting to use that ircd..
