You know, it is amusing about how much you read about how old the IRC Protocol is.
And people do complain about it, but nothing gets done.
Why don't a group of coders get together, and start something. I know that this community has a few coders that should know well enough to at least get something started, and let the users input ideas as well.
Sure, you can sit back and complain about it, or something can be done about it. Heck, even get something started, but it may be worth the while. |

that's happened on more than one occasion and so far, all attempts failed/died off.
If you was refering to my other comments, I wasn't complaining, I was stating facts. It does no good to complain about the RFC because people either don't care, don't understand or can't do anything about it anyway. |

| people have started new stuff, just no longer IRC based unless you mod your IRC client to connect to them. IRC is drying cause of Abuse, Social networking sites are in now. |
