| Hi, I'm a new owner of the server IceIRC, and I was wondering if there is any way I could get the server removed from the list?(Temp. until I get everything sorted) The old owner, Panic135, will not do it for some reason. If you need proof that I'm the new owner, you can contact greg27 (The owner of the IceIRC domain), or you can come talk to me on the IRC server. If this is not possible, then I have no problems with that, Thanks. |

| Simply ban the searchirc crawler until you're ready to be indexed again - then request reactivation. |

Well, all the info on the searchirc page would be wrong anyway, given I changed the services, location, and things like that. |

When you ban the bot or we mark the net inactive, then it is removed from the list of active networks and we no longer gather any data or list channels. Inactive networks remain in our database for historical purposes but are listed as 'last seen', ie, what the bot observed the last time it connected.
We'll be happy to list your network as under new management, temporarily closed for construction, or you can use our automated verification system to gain access and modify the info about your network as you see fit.
If you want the bot to stop connecting to your network, for ANY reason - simply ban it. Then, when you would like to be reactivated, just let us know and we'll reactivate the indexer to visit your net again.
Hope this helps. |
