microswift is looking to branch out and combine with another network. unlike before, we're now willing to drop our services and network name for yours. the two main administrators of the server no longer have the time or commitment to keep a flow of users coming on a standalone network.
before reading further, note that we'd have three servers coming. two are stable unix shells, the other is a dedicated server running windows. this pretty much limits us to unrealircd, unless you use something that supports windows.
requirements:
- must be organized. by organized i mean pretty much everything, and i'm picky.
- real users. something around 50-100 constant users would be good.
- mature staff. our users are pretty open-minded and offend a good deal of people without trying. i don't want users complaining to me because some oper decided to kill people instead of parting a channel.
if you're interested, reply or send a private.
edit: we have about 20 constant users, but probably well over 100 or so that drop by once in a while. |

Interested in hooking up with irc.sleisysoft.net ? The website is in development right now, and it was all just built yesterday and has gotten about 5 users within the first day of advertising. I am the only staff/ircop, and the network uses srvx 1.3.1 services and running ircu2.10.12.12 ircd.
Linking requirements:
Must be willing to rename to *.ST.CNTRY.SleisySoft.net (Example: Gravity.CA.US.SleisySoft.net for California, USA based), and be willing to use a provided ircd.conf file.
Also, must be willing to update the conf, or give me access to update it occasionally.
Only 1 ircop (yourself), and optionally a second one as your co admin depending on your server size.. Additional ircops may be given support or network helper status and go through training stages. Visit me at irc.sleisysoft.net in #SleisySoft and pm me, DarkWarrior.
All 3 of your servers are welcome to come along. I believe ircu has a slightly different windows version, we may be able to get it to work. If not, surely we can find some form of use for the windows server. |
