CollectiveIRC has an opening for a Public Relations Manager.
This position requires strong people skills. The ideal person will have several years experience as an irc admin. Can work well with others as a team member. Individual must have and display loyalty and interest in the growth and well being of the network.
Responsibilities include.
1> manage our PR channel.
2> interact with users fielding questions and concerns.
3> Working with the Executive Board resolving user issues
4> reports directly to the Network Operations Manager
5> assists the Network Operations Manager in resolving abuse reports
6> suggesting legal, moral ways to increase network population
7> advertising (legally and morally) the network
This is a senior admin position on our network and as such, this position is one of power and direct influence to the goals of the network. Please do not expect to be chosen the same day you apply, we take our time when dealing with such issues.
