Please understand that CollectiveIRC is NOT the average network. We are classified as a metanetwork, which is a collection of other networks.

We are looking for networks wanting to link to a larger, proactive collection of other successful networks. Our goal is to combine like minded networks together into a larger network for the good of the IRC community as a whole. We are NOT power hungry, self centered or domineering. What we want is very specific, which is why we have link requirements.

We truly strive for quality over quantity and we prove that by carefully evaluating all link applications objectively. We are not for everyone. IF you feel that you must remain in complete control over everything, then please do not apply. We operate as a group, we discuss things as a group, we vote as a group and you should be willing to give up some of your absolute powers in order to link. In short, if you can't work as a team, don't bother. That doesn't make us power hungry, it just means we already have a working system that is balanced for the community as a whole and are looking for individuals that own populated networks that are willing to better the community and not their egos.
