Meet and Greet

While it's a grand idea, I see it as a place for porn spam and users to post that important first post, nothing more .. I've read through many of them and it seems to be, imho, users only do this to get their 1 post. Then go on with what they really intended to do,

"Hi" .. then they move on.

I tend to ignore that forum entirely... because, as you said, most users just say nothing more than a simple "hi", then make their post as per intention, and we never see them again.

I really think the spam has increased with this new meet and greet thing .. but I guess to be on the positive side, all the spam is in one spot! ;P

Just PM me or Jason if you see spam that we've overlooked. Nothing I like more than pressing that little X to delete... well, actually, that chore is wayyyyy down at the bottom of my list of things I like to do, but I will. I promise.

Well I don't know if you two have thought of this, but have two or three mods for that one thread. As this seems where most of the spam is occurring And both you and Jason must have better things to do with your time. Select a few users who show the ability to moderate and not start a flame war to moderate that forum section.
