We have 3 servers ready to link up.


so here is what we are looking for..

we want to keep our name :BuddieSpace
We dont care about the ircd will change if needed.
Must have admin to services
if you have warez on your server then please do not pm me or post here.

these are the names of the servers that will remain the same when linked

node.va.us.buddiespace.com BuddieSpace Network
Talon.va.us.hub.buddiespace.com BuddieSpace Network
triton.va.us.buddiespace.com BuddieSpace Network

we may even add 2 more servers

msg me here or in pm


I had my last topic closed as it got out of hand with the flaming
so Please keep the flaming out.

Hello SkaterStuff

Are you still looking for other servers to link up to yours do you have a limit on how links you want and will you use your own services or some other server services.On my site i use Anope Services they are more stable.I am going to be linking up to couple other servers soon i am not sure when its going to happen thou.

Curious, are you interested in anime? Who would be part of the staff? We get around I'd say 10,000 different people each day, and 300 users on at one time, thats looking to grow even larger to possibly 1000 before the end of the week. All talking users too, no warez, period.

To get away from an opinionated definition, ie, someones personal definition and use a widely accepted definition, we'll use The American Heritage Dictionary which defines Spam as:

spam (n.) Unsolicited e-mail, often of a commercial nature, sent indiscriminately to multiple mailing lists, individuals, or newsgroups; junk e-mail.
spam (v.) To send unsolicited e-mail to.


When people ASK for your address it is not unsolicited, thus not spam. When the topic matches the referenced URL or other address, it's not indiscriminate, thus not spam.

Again, spam is BOTH unsolicited AND indiscriminate. People today have some very funny definitions of spam, most of which are not accurate.

Sorry to go off topic, it's just that over the years IRC admins/opers have changed definitions to match their own convenience, in many cases to justify their own actions, which is a huge pet peeve of mine. You can't just change the definition of a term just so you can do or get a way with something. Example, kickbanning a user from a channel simply because another user asked someone about their channel name or akilling/glining someone because their sentance used the term 'http://'. Anyway, back to the topic.
