hello there,
have one question, how to manually insert list server of my network coz i've disabled /map & /links function. thanks
| Code: | Displaying known servers and cached MOTDs for Syok
Latest server list is usually the latest servers SearchIRC has seen in /links. This list is usually very recent and up to date. For networks that have /links disabled, the list may have been manually added, and thus may not be as recent. |

Ok, lets see, you want to add a list of servers you dont want users to see...
Well at least by disabling /map and /links you dont want users to see them. So why do you then want to add them?
Also check out http://searchirc.com/add-network.php where it says:
| Quote: | | 6. Do not submit networks that do not allow /list, /links, /lusers and other standard ircd network information. We will not be able to gather information or display that network's channel list. |

Most people that hide map/links is because they don't want the topology exposed. This is fixed with flatmap, or disabling map/links and posting a list of servers on a website in no paticular order.
In short, it's not the list they are hiding, but the topology. |

| There's simply too much abuse for us to add or remove servers manually, or to allow admins to modify their own server list. |

I've added the server list for undernet manually. Aside from that, I haven't bothered manually adding a server list for any other network.
What I would recommend is just making a small code change to your IRCD so that /map displays a hard coded list of servers (or make it configurable so that the list comes from a file). That way the bots get the info you want, and you don't show how the servers are interconnected. |
