Since when will that stop trouble makers spamming/flooding it on other networks?
Ive seen countless phishing emails where the site they link to has been shut down prior to the email even being sent. |

Actualy I've found the most effective tool against spammers is umode +R and chanmode +R.
A person can all too often disconnect and change their host using any number of ways, thus bypassing akills, glines and even shuns. However, you can't bypass a non-address specific user or channel mode, such as +i, n, m or R for a few examples.
Using ircd side static parts and quits help as well. |
