I create an excel spreadsheet with 50 rows and 10 cols data.
On this data i create an pivot table with selections.
All works fine.
But now my question?
Every week i have more data and the data table growth.
Can i use the standard Pivot table with the new data in the same excel sheet.
I dont want change very time the pivot table.

Unfortunately, Excel doesn't make that easy to do. I use a software package called numberGo. I don't want to appear to be spamming here, so you can type that word into Google and easily find it. I use it because it has a refresh feature. So you can point it to an Excel spreadsheet, SQL table, whatever you want, set up your pivot table, save the file. Later on, if the "source file" such as the spreadsheet changes, you can click a button to do what they call a "refresh". There are settings to have it append the data to the existing data, or wipe it out completely, but your pivot table stays. I think this is exactly what you are trying to do. | I am sure you can make a macro as well, that adjusts the pivot table for you, and work with that. |

I'm too lazy I like the software to do all the work/thinking for me. |
