when trying downloading a dcc send, i get the error 'not enaogh buffer'
or the connection times out frequently,
i'm behind a firewall which i can't turn off (campus),
but small files seem to work fine, larger (+50mb) files don't :?: |

Buffer space has something to do with the space in mIRC reserved in memory. Do you have a computer with a little amount of memory, or with a hard disk that is almost full?
This error sounds like one I used to get with windows 95 because I didn't have enough memory to run all of my programs. I'm not sure how mIRC works though-I thought dcc wrote directly to disk, but I could be wrong.
Anyway, buffers sounds like something to do with memory (or disk space if swapfile). I could be wrong though, don't take my word as gospel definetely on the subject, but thats what it sounds like to me. |

Singing? Perhaps in the bar in Star Wars-I don't have a singing voice whatsoever |
