First of all this is not a post to try and attract users or links. I have an announcement that needs to be made to try and reach as many people as possible that knew our friend desperado (bill)

It is with deep regret that I am posting this.

Our bro and friend, desperado (bill) has passed away on Friday August 4th from a massive heart attack. He was only 41 and this was very unexpected. He had just chatted with some of us only hours before this event. There was no warning.

Anyone wishing to may stop by des's channel #bill's-place to remember him and share with his many other friends. The address is still irc.lost-dreams.net

desperado was loved by many, he was a great friend and brother and we are shocked and saddened by his loss. There is a memorial being planned for this weekend, details will follow soon. In the meantime here is a page that was made to honor him.

The memorial services will be held on Sunday at 8pm est, 7pm cst or 5 pm pacific time. They will be in his channel on Lost-Dreams #bill's-place.

I'm sorry for your loss, Aura. Sigh.. I know what its like. Slacked lost 2 users to suicide this summer (drgreen and {Vinamp}). Did anyone here know them? :\

Don't let this knock you down, let it make you stronger. I'm sure he's watching from above, and it would probably upset him to know that his death knocked you down and caused you lots of pain.
