our network is about 4 months old in our new name, we have been running for 1 year, but we need users to join, chat or what ever they want, our round robin server is chat.freeirc.dk and port, of cource 6667 
our main channel is #FreeIRC
There is very litle warez on the net, and the channel is +Rsk
+R is for only registed users may join, the rest u can guess your self 
Maybe this is the place for your clan, all servers run on a stable *nix system, and IRCops/admins are always ready to help out
