Hello,
My name is Karl. I am looking for a job as either a IRCop or an Services Admin (UnrealIRCd and Anope). I am experienced in both and are looking for a place to call home.
Im looking for a network that has 200+ users (not all opers) and no warez,
I would be interested in helping you out.
Please contact me here or by email:

You might want to offer something to the network first. (perhaps a server) instead of asking to be an oper on a 200 user Network.
I doubt a 200 user network would rather pick someone that made a post on searchirc rather than someone they trust out of the 200 people in their network. You'd probably get a 200 userbase warez networks looking for help.
It honestly shows nothing but 'power-hungry'.. especially when you're asking for a 200 userbase network and unrealircd as the ircd you're looking for
good luck |

| You'd have to offer something to a network for them to want you as an oper. UnrealIRCd and Anope give you a lot of power and as stated by Aven you're probably just power hungry. I'd rather choose one of my trusted users than someone who is... well, stupid enough to ask for Services Admin on a stable network with a good amount of users on a forum. |

| What's with you requesting staff that can be online 24/7? If you want a "stable" oper then this requirement is just stupid. However, if you're after some kid... |

| I'm not really looking for a 24/7 position because those positions cannot be filled by anyone who has a life. |

24/7? when does a person sleep?
I've been on Slacked's staff before I never had to gline or kill any user because there are rarely any trouble makers.
Just because it's a 24/7 chat, that doesn't mean it's the same people chatting for hours... but yeah, you might want to say "active irc operator" instead of "24/7" because people do have a life. |

| So basically what you're saying is you need somebody that has a bouncer? What sort of cheap IRC network is it if you don't provide them for your opers. |

Before we get too off topic... Lets just say I'm looking for a logical hour position. I will be on quite a bit and I do leave my mIRC on as much as I can.
NoSmile, open your eyes a little bit. Don't be so damn ignorant.
Good luck with hiring IRCops. |

I think people take stuff WAY too f'n seriously. When people say 24/7, its like a term for saying "opers who can stay connected". Saying you know unreal, anope, and html isnt very much of saying "I can turn on my pc and open IE". If you want real appreciation for your effort, learn more. Ive spent the past 3 years learning all this stuff, 3 years ago i had no idea what an IRCd was... I just used IRC and was happy it worked...well except on DALnet(my first network). Now to this day i work for shell companies, am running my 2nd attempt of a network, which so far is going pretty good. You want to learn ircu, stop being so picky on places, and learn srvx...Then maybe I would show more respect for this topic. HTML is a thing of the past to a point. Learn php, xml, asp, flash...you'll attract better attention that way...
To this...Im done ranting on now good luck
