my campus has blocked all ports from 6664-8080 so I am unable to get on most IRC servers, can anyone reccomend networks that have port 6000 or another port not listed above open for connections, I'm on irc.eeth.net and irc.mircx.com right now and I'm looking for more

/server -m stoned.techster.org 6660
that falls outside the banned port range you specified. |

Guest, be warned that even if you can connect to IRC, if it is against the school policies (assuming that campus means you are at a school), you could be subject to suspension or expulsion (in the worst case scenario, of course). Just FYI.

On the other hand, an aircard + PDA means you can IRC from anywhere on campus, and everyone will think you're just setting up your contacts list or playing a game :)

My network allows 6660-6669/7000. These seem to be 'fairly' standard ports-try them on the network you're trying to get onto, if they followed the default setup it usually enables these ports by default, meaning you will probably be able to get on via 6660-6663.
