I have read through all the manuals and tut's, along with FAQ's and look through several config files, still no luck.. I can ping all the servers wanting to link except one which times out, so not expecting to be able to link with that one..
And I can join client wise all the servers..
We are all using unrealircd3.2.2, win32, and have anope services on the hub..
The me blocks are set correctly on all, plus the listen and link block's...
also all firewalls have been turned off to test, still nothing..
The only thing I can think of is that we are all running behind routers on multi PC LAN network's, so the config files show an internal ip in listen blocks, dmz the router is not an option due to web server and mail servers on different pc on network..
I am sure someone out there has encountered this problem and resolved it, so if you have any info, ideas, or suggestions please give away..
Also I would be willing to test link one of the servers to yours provided you have had a working link at one time to eliminate which servers are having the block issue, if not all..
Thanks in advance for any help! |

| You need to use external IP's on the link blocks, not the internal IP's, which you are likely using. |

So How can I use an external IP when unreal fails during the rehash saying it can not bind to that IP....
Like I said before I can not disable any of the other servers(not ircd) on the LAN here.. I have 4 PC's on the same router all of which are servers, so is there away to get around the external ip and get this thing link to an outside server? |
