572 users doesn't even fill up 1 server let alone 20. You should really trim down a bit. I understand that when you're new you add links to help grow, build up some redundancy .. etc. etc, but at 572 users you should be established enough to not need all those servers.
I can understand not wanting to just delink some servers, but I honestly don't think you need to be advertising for more. RFC1459 states that the number of servers should be kept low (section 9.1 - Scalability). yes, yes .. I know RFC1459 is considered obsolete. Done that argument many times so please don't start it again, because regardless of anyones beliefs or excuses .. it is still the standard. I understand and condone violating the RFC when a more secure or more practical method of doing things is invented .. but having too many servers for your user load falls into neither of those categories. |

| First of all isnt this the wrong thread for this topic? And 2nd of all, trying to get networks bigger than you to basically "change to your name" so you can "claim their users" isnt really a smart way to get good help. |

Yah I was link with ridernet their use CloneMod in Gnuworld to load clone, for the userload... I have delinked my server... |

TheFrog has linked with my network...Phatlogic. Thanks to him we now have 3 servers, all very stable, with little to no splits. He's a good admin, and I'd like to thank him for linking to the growing Phatlogic irc network. Anyone who wants to have a visit can check it out at:
