We have coded the first irc blog service It is as basic as simple weblog. It also lets users to read anyone elses blog entries. You would come and check it at irc://sydney.ca.k9world.org or irc://irc.k9world.org
BlogServ: BlogServ is a utility allowing K9World IRC users to keep an IRC journal.
BlogServ: BlogServ's commands include:
BlogServ: ADD Adds messages
BlogServ: LIST List messages
BlogServ: READ Read messages
BlogServ: DEL Delete messages
BlogServ: INFO Display information related to messages
BlogServ: Type /msg BlogServ HELP command for help on any of the
BlogServ: above commands. |

When you answer this you will answer your question also. Why people use irc clients while browser chat is much better suited to the task? |

| First, I have no idea what you mean by "browser chat". Assuming you mean things like this forum, it's not better if you're after a form of real-time communication, particularly with multiple people. You'd have been better off maybe comparing an IM client. |
