I dont know if some1 else posted this already .. but it is mayb usefull to make the ircd versions on http://searchirc.com/ircd-versions click-able and to c wich networks are using that ircd

Hey,
This has been suggested before. We can't do this because soon as a exploit is found, people will use our data to take advantage of holes in ircds.
However...you can look up what version a network is using on their network page.

considering that it would be a cool feature......
maybe there could be an option for everyone who owns a networks and submits it to the SIRC directory to either have it listed in a daemon version directory or not, I do see JohnB's point of it and it is very true, but to each his own and well its just a suggestion
I myself would like to see it happen, I dont trust many daemons specially those I never used before  |

The problem is, people are stupid. I'm sure many (most?) networks would not realize that there is a security risk involved! |
