Hi,

I'm w00t (some/many of you probably already know me Wink).
I'm currently looking for a network to help out on, preferably in a coding/tech related role. Let me tell you more about myself.

I'm interested in coding, and IRC - better still if the two are mixed together. I'm a fairly laid-back person, and keep a fairly level head during an argument. I have around 3-4 years experience as an oper/admin, mostly with Unreal, also with InspIRCd and a little fooling around with ircu, bahamut and hybrid amongst others.

I've been involved in many IRC related projects, including acemiles.net, Unreal/InspIRCd (I'm a supporter for both projects), nservices (my own services project, in C), WinSE (VB.NET irc services), em00 (my own bot, PHP), and Obsidian (my client I work on in my "free" time, C#).

I enjoy politics, technology, religion and philosophy... you name it I'll probably have an opinion on it.

What could I bring your network?
Someone with a lot of experience, a friendly face, and perhaps Services.

Should you wish to contact me for further details, please send me an email at surreal [dot] w00t [at] gmail.com, or send me a PM via this board. Ta.

I know you've found a place at Chatspike.... but this is as good a place as any to ask. Why do you call yourself "w00t"?

Heh, good question - and one I can't actually remember the answer to.

I used to go by the nick IdENtitY, as I had an identity crisis - I couldn't think of a nick. w00t started out as a joke of some sort, and just sort of.. stuck Razz.

We got dibs on w00t now.
We're feeding him pie and abusing him on a daily basis.

w00t means wither "what?!?" or "yey!" in an exited way; or We Owned the Other Team, used in online gaming Wink
