How about your keyboards?

I haven't killed many keyboards but I am so close to kill the one I use now, a wireless keyboard. I swear that when I get a new keyboard I will take this out to the docks, tie a big rock on it and watch it sink to the bottom.

I've never killed a single keyboard, but I've taken out a few mice - usually by accidentally dropping a large book on them.

I can't count the number of keyboards that have passed through my hands... but its rarely because they stop working. Far more often its because I wear out the keys to the point other people complain they can't type on my computer any more.

People at school always takin the piss cos i can type hella faster than them and i don't need to look at the keyboard.

Sure you're not typing fast because you miss out the letters from words like "taking" and "because"? I don't even know what "hella faster" means. ;)

lol.. I don't want to burst your bubble, but my amazing speed is generated by two or three fingers on each hand, and that backspace key takes a beating from all my typos which are caught and corrected before you ever see them. It comes out fine on IRC and forums, but watching me in "Talk" would have you roflyao. ;)

AND... the fastest typest I know is our fearless leader, Jason. He is simply *amazing* (and he uses all of his fingers, never looks at the keyboard, and corrects very few typos).

i can type pretty fast and dont look at the keyboard, but if you ever speak to me on irc ull see every sentance i type is riddled with typos

I can spell, but I can't type all that well, I often insert j's where they shouldn't be (I inserted one into the previous "that" for example) and yeah, I'm forever using the backspace key. That said, I'm faster with three fingers on both hands than quite a few people I know who like to think that they can touch-type Wink

I'm a horrible speller, but I can and do use all fingers when typing. On IRC I tend to try to type to fast and make even more errors on top of my spelling mistakes.

My old school had all iMacs Sad

most of the keyboards on them where worn out. It would take me forever to type on them, for one the keyboard seems like a different size to me (maybes thats just me?) also the keys where so hard to hit and I would constantly have to use the backspace to make sure all the letters I typed made it in. The mouses where another story, your lucky if the computer had one is all I will say. Monitors where nothing less of horrible, colors all weird. I think this can all fall under Arizona not carrying about education; I think where 48th or 49th in funding for education.

the mmmmmmmmmm of mine is not really working. i think this singaporian malysia thai chinese 2$ keyboard expired just with his 1 year of warranty. hmmmm /me looking for a made in germany keyboard. pretty sure that will survive a decade
