Roku: It obviously DIDNT take you 15 seconds, because ive searched google for 15 MINUTES and i still didn't find any real time contact information on codemastr. I couldn't even find any less-than-real time contact information, as he seems to use "fake@fake.com" for his email.

I'm sorry, you're right I don't put my email address in my profile because that's a stupid thing to do. Just like you or I can search for a profile to lookup my email address, so too can a spammer and I get enough spam as it is. Anyway, you really have absolutely no clue what might possibly be my email address? First off, anything *AT* codemastr.com goes directly to me, secondly codemastr *AT* unrealircd.com, is that really such a hard thing to guess?

And for "real-time" you're right, you won't find any AIM/YIM/MSN or anything else like that for me. Why you ask? What kind of software is it that I develop? IRC! Why would I be using an IM program when I can use the program I designed myself? And as for finding me on IRC, again simple guesses would have found me, irc.unrealircd.com would have been the first thing I tried and it would have been correct.

Plus, lets not forget that these forums have a private-message feature which you could have used.

roku: still havn't found any real time contact information on codemastr other than what he just said in this thread.

His email address is not real time contact information. Try again.

And I already know you chat at unrealircd.org, codemastr, i've been there enough times to know that you're always there, idle, and even if If you're not idle, you'd ignore me if i msg'ed you.

I give up talking to you if you didn't see the REAL email address at the bottom of the codemastr.com home page. Sometimes I think your just being intentionally obtuse. This being one of those times.

I too was going to say codemastr [at] unrealircd [dot] com or anything [at] codemastr [dot] com but I didn't want to actually say it because:

1. it's painfullly obvious.
2. it's not my place to give it.

An email address is NOT a real-time form of communication. It takes seconds, minutes, and sometimes hours for email to be sent and received.

If you think email is real-time communication, then maybe you should be posting on searchpop3.com or searchsmtp.com.

But more importantly, you obviously havn't been reading my posts because the last 2 posts noted that 1. I know his email address and 2. This isn't real time:

Now you're just posting for the sake of debate. I think you'd be more at home at nitpickers.com, and honestly, this thread contains so much drama that it should be mirrored at www.tnt.tv

I was talking about his email address, which was one of the things *YOU* mentioned.

Not sure what provider you have but my email service is fast enough to carry on a near real time conversation.

Well first off, I rarely if ever idle there. I might not say anything, but I'm there. And if you say in the channel "mind if I msg you?" then I'll listen. But if you just msg me, my script automatically ignores it (and tells you that).

Well like I said, you won't find it because it doesn't exist. The only "real-time" communication I use other than IRC is a telephone, and no, I don't advertise my telephone number on the Internet. I'd get five million "I love unreal" and 5 million "I hate unreal" phone calls and my cell phone plan just doesn't give me enough minutes to cover that.

Forget single-threaded - let's go back to single-process (DOS anyone?)!

There's a reason we have multi-tasking/multi-threading/multi-user OSes today...

For the few brutal-force critics in this thread, if you don't like her new IRCd, you don't have to use it.

Some people just don't know how to use constructive criticism, they automatically go into bash mode. It's common on the internet.
