ShadowIRCd version 4 has been released. You can read the release announcement here, and a short changelog is available in the release notes, here.
Some notable features include full anope support! (On their modular tree, and in what will become 1.7.9.) We would like to thank Rob for his help with accomplishing that goal. Other enhancements include a more efficient server to server protocol with fully automated TS synchronization, and provisional support for epoll under Linux 2.6, a fully documented user help system, with full customizability, and 64-bit safety.

If you had any problems accessing the ShadowIRCd site yesterday we are pleased to announce it has been moved to a server on a multi-homed connection.
The site can be accessed via http://www.shadowircd.net/
Also, partially complete documentation has been added to the site. |

The ShadowIRCd site is no longer being hosted by the EqualSlashed IRC Network due to nenolod's attitude. After the chains of events that occurred, where nenolod blamed other IRCd developers for a vulnerability only existant in ShadowIRCd, and then demanding he get network administrator privileges on my IRC network or he would not make my network the official ShadowIRCd network.
This is why nenolod can only get loser kids that live with their mom who have Road Runner cable to host his site. For a grown man nenolod is probably the most childish programmer I've ever known who thinks he can get whatever he desires just because a few teenagers tag along with him from network to network. |

This is quite sad, in my opinion. He is obviously just writing a IRCd in a desperate attempt to gain acceptance from the IRC community. It seems that his new gimmick is threatening to sue everybody. |

Well lets see brian.
you come to inspircd, and you troll us. you get glined.
next, you troll shadow, and you get booted off their team.
You spend your entire time trolling these boards.
The above posts are completely an attack against a PERSON NOT AN IDEA and it is everyones opinion that you should no longer be allowed on these forums, as you have done this many times before and gotten away with it, not only that but it seems the places you find here you visit to troll them too (like shadows network, my network as two examples of this).
You can either stop trying to provoke people, or you can be forced out of this community. The right way, or the highway. |

I was not booted from the ShadowIRCd team. That is what you are not understanding. I stopped hosting the ShadowIRCd site because I do not appreciate nenolod's attitude.
Also, I've known nenolod for alot longer than you Brain, so why don't you just stay out of this and stop sticking your nose where it does not belong?
Also Brain, should you really stick up for nenolod? After all he has made many derogatory comments against InspIRCd behind your back.

why should i, ive had quite enough of you, your personal attacks and your constant bitching. I suggest you read the FORUM RULES (yes this forum has RULES) to the left, especially the 'no personal attacks, attack ideas NOT people' one, and SHUT THE HELL UP.
take your opinions, and put them somewhere else. |
