Shamrock,
I'd rather prefer that myself. I guess that's why I stick to one and only one now which me and one other person I've known for quite a while started together, with the same basic thinking of too many ircops and/or ircops who abuse privileges, or even NetAdmins who think they are "god". I'd much prefer the true democratic way of running a server myself, as less confusion, and allowing everyone more input into the network makes for less unhappy staff and more of a feeling of belonging there.
Politics are everywhere no matter what unfortunately. |

Majestic Liaisons is no longer listed on SearchIRC due to a successfull linking with TheQuizBox. It's the first time i've ever merged networks, and apart from a few technical hitches that have been getting sorted out there have been no problems.
The reason we were sucessfull is that we spent the time before linking discussing how things would work, to ensure there would be no problems.
The discussions before the actual linking are what i believe made it a successfull link. Even though both networks were based towards general chating and Games/Gaming, there were major differences in other aspects of the networks. Having Customised Services is a big help too, as it is easier to make modifications when needed, without having to wait, or request others to do them. |

Just a follow up from what DeadNotBuried said.
The link between mine, TheQuizBox and his network is still going good.
If we ever disagree on anything we always discuss it properly and come to an agreement rather than argue, kill, kline, de-link etc. etc.
The network is now developing quickly and really, I could not of made a better choice than to link with majestic.
You can visit our net and see its sucess at irc.thequizbox.com
Thanks
