| It's a code which should have been sent to the email address that you provided in your registration command. This validates that you used a valid email address. |

check your email
you should recieve a message from the network you registered your nick in with a message that says something like /msg nickserv AUTHblahblah some code
copy and paste that on the IRC net and it should now let you identify for your nick
/msg nickserv identify password |

| In the unlikely event that you don't receive an email, contact the administration of the network you are attempting to register with, and give them all the details they might need (IE, time and date, nickname, and email address.) |
