If you're using Unreal, check out the /docs directory, it lists all of the ircd commands including oper ones.

It's ashame that some anonymous people have to come on and dogg on peoples networks. If you can't provide a creative reply why bother? On another note, why don't you register yourself Guest? or is it nice being a nobody? Very Happy

How come that you need ircop-s? Don't you have users in your server that can do the job? I can come and suggest to you myself, but how can you prove that i can do that? You don't know me, i haven't been in your server, i don't know what's the name of your sever. The point my friend is, first try to search among the registered users who have been a long time in your server, ask them if they want to be ircops. I'm sure that you will find a lot of them, who will be happy to became ircops, the dream of most of irc users.

At a minimum you should have some qualifications, and maybe at least get to know the person before handing them god powers on a network. Ok, thats a bit beyond the scope, but in theory an IRCop can really mess up a network if given too much available power....so choose them wisely Smile

Course, a properly configured (Unreal at least) server would require /die password, and the password should be something so unguessable that only the actual server admin would know the proper /die command.

This assumes proper configuration and password security Smile
