Maybe YOU should have thought about what he said. He was answering your original question.
As for SMO, it isn't documented, because as aquanight said, it's a server->server command, so there's not a lot of point. |

err...k I don't really understand what you mean by server->server command it seems to work just like a normal command that deserves documentation like the rest to me but...
Any other undocumented commands anyone would care to tell me about? |

| server <-> server commands are commands that servers send to each other for example a hackops or a end of burst. Some server <-> server commands can be used by opers but that don't mean that their intended use wasn't for servers. |

And so we're supposed to go on a treasure hunt for what server<->server commands we can use?
Still makes no sense not to document the commands opers can use. |

Sure it does .. I can thing of literaly hundreds of people I wouldn't want to know about RAW or INJECT. Neither are server commands but neither need to be documented either. |

ARGH
what does Inject do?
And could someone tell me some of these other commands?
And, why would you not want anyone to know about inject? If you gave them the privileges to use it, they should be able to use it. |

Just because something exists .. don't mean that you *have* to know about it or use it. Sometimes people are better off not knowing. |

Interesting theory ... wonder if that applies to that strap thingie in my car called a seat belt? It exists, therefore you would think i would pay special attention to it. Hmm maybe it's just me, oh well, carry on.

lets find some resemblence of topic
I agree....for example, the services RAW command is enabled on I think all the networks I work on (Not really my choice...) And often I am asked by new admins how to use it....they soon pick up how to make services talk and stuff....but I personally refuse to teach it to anyone.....and when asked my standard response is "It is a dangerous command, capable of breaking the entire network, if you are having to ask me how to use it, you shouldn't be touching it at all." |
