| I have the following view: I don't mess with channels on the network that aren't mine. I have better things to do, so do my staff. If my staff chooses to involve themselves into a channel and the founder gives them ops, so be it. Otherwise stay the hell outta their business. The channel ops can run their channel, if not, they don't need a channel in the first place. I don't get paid for running this network, so I just do this in my free time, I have more free time to be online than some, and a couple of my other staff are home most of the day online also, but that doesn't mean we're gonna sit around babysitting other channels either. |

| Well that's pretty much the same as I stated before. Specially on bigger and more busy networks IRCops have enough work fending off spammers, flooders, proxy drones, warbots, exploits, IRC virusses and whatever crap people send to the network without having to look into each channel to see if somebody is flaming others or pissing people off. Besides, it's impossible to look at all channels at once. If there really is a big issue, people can always ask an IRCop for help. If it's just some dude swearing at you, then solve it yourself. |

I started my network just as a place for some friends to chat and have fun.
On the 5th of july the network is 1 year old under this name. before this 2 of the 4 server where also part of a small network with mostly the same people so the network is much older then 1 year. |

| IRC is a good place to chat with friends, and also for clubs or groups or communities. I use it for all those things. |

I started my network for a few reasons:
1. I`m tired of all those large networks, whose staff doesn`t care much about the network`s affairs.
2. I wanted to have some free IRC space for me and my friends.
3. I wanted to host an IRC channel for a community i`m familiar with (TeamX).
As the time went, i added some more reasons, but they are off the topic here. |
