I've started up my own little IRCD server (irc.syx9.com) and I was wondering if you guys can give me some suggestions on how I can expand. It's only been up a few weeks and I don't expect it to boom in that short time, but any suggestions on how in the future I could attract more users go ahead and give me some input. I have about 10 unique users on there, which are all good friends of mine, but I want to get the server going. I'm not trying to make it have over 1,000 users or anything I just want somewhere between 50-100 users at any given time. We have trivia bots and some of the staff are trying to come up with ways on how we could attract users. If anyone can offer some help or websites other than searchirc that I can get the word out I would greatly appreciate it. You can find me on my server in #syx9 (aj). Stop by and chat with us, we're all bored |

| Well, with the high number of networks on the lists today, you might need to do something radically different from other networks to increase your population. Try something like a bot that stores thousands of cooking recipes for users to quickly grab any recipe they want to try. Use your imagination. |
