Basicly its the headline, i am running 98, no firewall, viruscanner, i might have stuffed up mirc but would like to know if theres something in the menus that i am missing to not being able to do this particular thing.
I have worked with mirc and only with mirc and invsion 2.0.
Any Help please?. |

I assume that you mean that you cannot DCC send.

One of the major problems is network. I, myself, had exactly the same problem while I was on NAT network. However if you are not on network, try changing DCC port (Alt+O - DCC - Options).
As for Invision 2.0, the script is easy and has almost no bugs. I don't think it's the problem.
Hope this helps, |

You also might want to try the following steps:
1) Disconnect from your IRC server (File->Disonnect).
2) In File->Setup, delete whatever is present in the Local Host and IP fields.
3) Check "Always get ip on connect."
4) Reconnect to the irc server
This has worked for me in past and for several other ppl I know |

make sure "lookup method" is set to server
a buddy of mine is on a dumb cable network across town and hes got the cheap plan, so he dont have his own ip, and because the way the network is set up, he cannot dcc at all, no matter what he does, the only i see is some kinda tunnel to an outside point, but thats about it. |
