| I don't think that IRC is going anywhere. As long as there are the networks, people will still come. I do find IRC more fragmented nowadays though, with everyone starting their own networks and all. |

irc is a zombie-hydra-monster-dude-guy-thing
it's pretty much like a nation in mid stages of what one would call anarchy. Many unruly areas, but there are still those few great oasis(don't know the plural for it! ) that you can go to. It will be an extremely long time before IRC dies. And even then when it dies people will still use it. |
